Unlike processed foods, the foods listed above are dense with nutrient value and contain fewer calories. Reducing your caloric intake by eating healthier will go a long way in helping you lose weight.

Diseases of the joints such as osteoarthritis and osteoporosis can be made worse if gluten blocks your immune system from working properly. You might experience relief from pain and stress if you have either of these two conditions and go wheat-free. Pain is amplified for overweight individuals suffering from health issues in their joints. Your painful joints shouldn’t hurt as bad if you get on a wheat-free diet and lose weight.

When you’ve been eating wheat all of your life, the thought of eliminating it from your diet can be scary. You don’t have to stop wheat consumption cold turkey.
